Is It Dangerous To Put A Body Pillow Against A Steam Radiator?

My dorm room is so small that my bed ended up being right next to the radiator in our room. Sometimes I wake up because it’s soooo hot! So, I bought this body pillow to put against it so it would block some of the heat, and I love it, but I’m afraid the heater is going to get so hot that the pillow will catch on fire or something? Is putting the pillow directly against the radiator dangerous??

you are going to catch on fire and die! didn’t you read the warning labels on the radiator? or a better question, do you have common sense?

  2. ? says:

A steam radiator does not produce enough heat to cause combustion. You are just fine. Be aware though that the steam radiator may get hot enough to cause burns to your skin if you touch it.
